Dr Divya Pujari is a dedicated Consultant in Pediatric Endocrinology based in Mumbai, associated with Jaslok Hospital, Bhatia Hospital, Surya Hospitals, and Sparsh Hospital. She brings a wealth of experience from her extensive training in two prominent centers of pediatric endocrinology: BJ Wadia Hospital for Children in Mumbai, where she completed an MUHS fellowship, and the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where she served as a Clinical Fellow.

Dr Pujari has a particular passion for pediatric endocrinology, inspired by the challenge of recognizing and understanding children’s health needs. Her areas of expertise encompass a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders, including congenital hyperinsulinism, neonatal diabetes, adrenal pathologies, and calcium and bone disorders. She is actively involved in the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology, where she contributes to their newsletter editorial board, and regularly presents her work at national and international conferences.

With a calm, patient-centered approach, Dr Pujari aims to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Her research contributions include studies on congenital heart diseases, pediatric diabetes, and endocrine complications in oncology patients. In addition to her clinical work, she has been instrumental in organizing multidisciplinary meetings on hypothalamic-pituitary axis tumors and has conducted CMEs on pediatric endocrinology topics. Dr Pujari is deeply committed to her profession and continues to strive for excellence in pediatric endocrine care.

Pediatric endocrine experience:

I am a consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology in Mumbai, India. In my previous role I was a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Endocrinology in Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. In addition to clinical work, I was also actively involved with academics. I was a part of the team arranging an international multicentric Hypothalamo pituitary axis tumours MDT.

Prior to this, I have completed a 1 year Paediatric endocrine fellowship at the renowned BJ Wadia hospital for Children, Mumbai (est. 1928).

Working in 2 major centres of Paediatric endocrinology, I have gained experience and confidence in dealing with a plethora of endocrine issues. As a part of my fellowship I have also dealt with oncology patients having endocrine complications.

I feel confident in dealing with a wide range of Paediatric Endocrine pathologies including, but not limited to Congenital Hyperinsulinism, Neonatal Diabetes, Paediatric Diabetes, Primary Adrenal insufficiency, Adrenal tumors, calcium and bone disorders and disorders of sexual development. I was also offered fellowship posts in Sick Kids hospital, Toronto and University college Hospitals, London.
